Graphic Design Guidelines

GRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS AND COLOR GUIDELINES FOR ALL CUSTOM ARTWORK

1. All logos should be in vector format, grouped as one object.  Adobe Illustrator or EPS format

2. All text converted to outlines (NO FONTS)

3. All the logos, text, backgrounds, etc in separate file or separated within the same file with the design

4. We prefer designs placed in our graphic templates

5. The colors set in the file as standard solid coated PANTONE numbers (these typically have a "C" after the number).  CMYK colors can be printed without changes and with NO guarantee of the final result.  Please note that colors viewed on a computer screen RARELY match the printed sublimated colors on an article of clothing.   Please see point 10 below on Color Matching

6. Avoid masks, transparency, opacity, web effects, etc.  We can print these with NO guarantee for the result.  Screen output usually does not match print output

7. Do not use any design objects made with software plug-ins or other additional non-standard software tools

8. Any 3D or other objects designed with special software must be converted to TIFF images in 150 dpi in actual 1:1 scale.  We cannot re-size TIFF images due to decreased resolution.

9.  Please avoid artwork which has graphics (stripes, etc.) that cross sewn seams.  These graphics will not align on the different sizes.

10.  Color matching is not guaranteed to be exact.  Different fabrics reflect light and can absorb ink differently, and for this reason it is not possible to have exact color matching (even for different items within an order).  We have many years of experience with sublimated graphics, and we always match colors as closely as possible.  If color matching is critical for you, then we can provide you with a COLOR PROOF upon request.  A color proof is a piece of fabric printed with your specified color for verification.  There may be additional costs and/or lead time associated with providing a color proof.  If you choose NOT to receive a color proof, then we can not guarantee that colors will meet your expectations.

11.  Full pre-production print samples are not normally provided.

Any graphics not meeting the above requirements may be subject to additional artwork charges and/or yield unexpected results.
